Ethical Decision-Making in Fundraising: Dealing with Situations that Challenge Professional Ethics
The responsibility of raising and disbursing charitable funds must be supported by an ethical decision-making framework. Such standards and considerations are essential for effective governance and financial accountability. Knowing when and how to accept a big gift presents ethical dilemmas for fundraisers.
These dilemmas will be outlined and recommendations will be provided for how an organization can safeguard ethical fundraising practices.
