Ontario Grant to Support Anti-Hate Security Measures for Faith-Based and Cultural Organizations

We received information from Ontario’s Anti-Racism Directorate at the Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism that applications for the grant program to support Anti-Hate Security Measures for Faith-Based and Cultural Organizations are now open for 2022-2023. 

The Ontario Grant to Support Anti-Hate Security Measures for Faith-Based and Cultural Organizations is providing one-time grants of $5,000, $7,500, or $10,000 to eligible organizations, which can go towards security expenses such as security equipment or training to respond to hate-motivated incidents. Eligibility is based on the organization’s 2019 revenue. 

You can apply for the Ontario Grant to Support Anti-Hate Security Measures for Faith-Based and Cultural Organizations in three steps:

  1. Check if your organization is eligible
  2. Review the list of eligible expenses
  3. Apply through the application portal

The deadline to apply is August 31, 2022, at 11:59 a.m. EST.
