Ontario updates Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (“ONCA”) forms and non-profits should use new forms

The Ontario government has sent out a notice that they have updated a number of the ONCA forms.  When preparing an ONCA form always try to use the most up-to-date form.  Other forms than the ones mentioned below have also recently been updated.

If you are not sure a primary activity code (NAICS code) was already provided, please provide one or the form will be returned if a primary activity code is not in the Ministry’s record”. ·        Form 5285 & Instructions – Initial Return/Notice of Change/Annual Return for an EP Foreign with Share – Corporations Information Act ·        Commenced activity date field now appears as mandatory in section 3 when Notice of Change or Annual Return is selected.
