Toronto Star reports that “Ontario government making fixes to troubled online business registry”

In a recent Toronto Star article entitled “Ontario government making fixes to troubled online business registry” it notes;

The Ontario government is taking care of business by cranking repairs of its troubled online corporate registry into overdrive.

As first disclosed by the Star three weeks ago, 16 of Canada’s top law firms complained the new Ontario Business Registry’s “system shutdowns, technical glitches and substantive problems” were leading to companies incorporating out-of-province.

We had written about the issue earlier here in Toronto Star’s “Doug Ford’s glitchy online business registry has major law firms telling clients to avoid Ontario”.
