So they are now down to three directors, the smallest number one can have if you are an incorporated registered charity. As we blogged about previously, the Trudeau Foundation, despite the filings, is probably not a “non-soliciting” corporation and they are therefore supposed to file their financial statements with Corporations Canada, which they have not done yet.
Also, please note that the last filing of the Form 4006 (see below) to remove a large number of directors was made on April 19, 2023. One of those who resigned was listed as resigning on March 23, 2023. When there is a change in directors, the corporation has an obligation to file the updated information within 15 days. So clearly, they filed later than the 15 days, at least for the one director resigning.
